- Drink water instead of aerated sweetened drinks or coke. Cut calories by drinking water or unsweetened beverages because they are the major sources of added sugar and calories. Try adding a slice of lemon, cucumber Or watermelon to your glass of water if you want some flavor.
- Cut back on solid fats like cakes, cookies, pizza, greasy oily food (often made with butter and refined flour)
